Thank you sooo much. I did find online one possible in the 1860 Census for Beaufort County. They have Eliga Dunn 40 with a daughter Elizabeth (Bettie??) who is 6 years old. That was before I got her Death Certificate. I also know that women love to make themselves younger than they are so it might be that my mother didn't really know her year of birth. I found her and my grandfather in the 1900 Census and then she gives her year of birth as 1854 So Who knows what the true year is. Any help would be appreciated. We are going to try and make a vacation trip up that way sometime this summer to go through the library to see if I can find any more out there. Thanks again for any help on this matter.
