He recently passed away but before he did he would tell me about his father Clanton and meeting his grandfather in Louisiana. He told me the story of how his father was placed in an orphanage by his father because he was unable to raise all of the children on his own. He left the orphanage when he was young and joined a ship and eventually made it to California. He too had red hair, a trait that still runs in my family. I recall hearing the name Zuella but never really learned much about her or Uberta. I'd love to hear what you know.
