My husbands great grandfather was John Dunn who was born ca. 1800 in Ireland. He was married to Mary Desmond. They had a son, John. According to John, jr.'s obit, he was born in Limerick ca. 1828, came to America as a boy, settled in NY and later came west. I don't know if his parents came to America with him, or names of any siblings. I would like to talk to you more about this probable connction as I live in Oshkosh which is only 10 miles from Omro.
