My gg-grandfather John Lee Dunn was born in Tenn. (place uncertain) in 1831. At the outbreak of the Civil War he was living near Murfreesboro in Rutherford Co where he enlisted in the Confederate Army. He died in the 1920's in Dyersburg, Dyer Co. I have several WWI era postcards from an A.O. Skaggs from Europe to my aunts and grandmother where he address them as "Cousin." I've been away from researching this line recently, but there may be a link. Let's see what we can put together.
