They were supposed to have married and had a son named Warren "War" Dunn, who was my great grandfather. Family have said when Warren was about 12 his parents died and he was sent to live with family in Clay county Arkansas. I found Warren in the 1880 census of Clay county Arkansas as a boarder in the Hastings household. He married Adeline "Addie" corlew in Butler county Missouri. They are listed in the 1900 census of Clay county Arkansas. James and Jane Dunn had a girl named mary and another son named James.
