The first line of Dunning's in my husband's family came from Dunn. The first Dunning I have is a Joseph Selmar Dunning and according to his son, my husband's grandfather, they changed their name to Dunning but Grandpa didn't know why because his father would never say. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Kim
