<<1860 Edgecombe Census>> Where is Edgecombe County?? You should try to add a state or country at least as we are not all familiar with every county in every state or every county in every country. You will probably get more help if you can add more information. Barb :) Surnames: Dunn, Brewster, Groat, Harding, West, Guinn, Newton, Bettis, Red(d), Williams "Share knowledge as if it is a living entity, for in fact, it is. Hi Barb, how are you doing? It drives me nuts when people ask something and don't tell you where it is-they must think everyone knows what state every town is in. Are you getting any of the rain we are having here? It has been raining on and off all week, and even when it isn't raining it is drizzly. I am finding a few things-will send you one thing I found on Jeremiah Dunn at the courthouse in Carroll County if I can find it. I put it out for Dunn Diggers, too. Ros Here it is. Don't know if this is our John or not, there are so many cousins, but rather think so. Shows he is alive in 1849. Joe thought he died in Indianpolis area, which might be true. Think he would be Jeremiah's brother. Ros We W. Cox and H. Harris, two of the commissioners appointed by the County court for the county aforesaid do audit and settle the account as administrators do certify that we cause to be summoned before us Henry Wise, Henry Spillman, Thos. Eads, William Dunn, John Dunn, Robert Dunn and Davis Wright, heirs of the said Jeremiah Dunn dec'd-have stated & allowed his account as above and find him indebted to in the sum of 572.49 1/2. Given unto our hands this 4th day of June, 1849. W. Cox, & H.
