My ggrandfather was Andrew Jackson Dunn(ca 1835????, in Ga). He married Sarah Ann Hammock in Barbour County Alabama in 1859. They moved west to Louisiana sometime between 1860 & 1861, and he was wounded in the Civil War in the Battle of Irish Bend and died a year later in 1864. Sarah Ann went back to Alabama to live next to her parents, Thomas and Mary Hammock, in Barbour County. After Thomas died, Mary went to live with her son (Jesse Thomas) in Dale County (Clopton) and Sarah followed, raised her two children there and died there in 1917.
