William's first wife Mary McCloskey died in childbirth with their child Michael Sylvester (who also did not survive) on July 13, 1849. William then married Magdelena Magdelena on 1/10/1850 at St. Mary's church in Hollidaysburg. The witnesses were T. McConnell and Abelina Exter. The rest of these records are in the original latinized form: Dunn, Joannem Sylvestrum (Gulielmo/Magdelena Jenock?) b. 5/24 bp. 6/5/1853 gp. (godparents) Josephus and Barbara Linger? Dunn, Thomam (Guilemo/Lana Senegar) b. 10/14 bp. 10/22/1855 gp. Patricius McKenna/Maria Walsh St.. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg Trehs, Franciscus (Johannis/Annae Mariae Hausland) -- from France m. 2/10/1856 Anna Seninger (Xaverii/Annae Mariae Hausland {yes I know the maiden names on both mothers are the same... this is directly from the church records} witnesses. Wm. Dann and Magdelena, his wife St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg Dunn, Andreum (Guiliemo/Magdalina Seniger(?)) b. 10/16 bp. 11/7/1858 gp. Jacobus Craig/Catherine Moran St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg *note the Craig family served as godparents for several of William's children... not sure if there is a connection there or not Dunn, Theodorum Franciscum (Wilhelmi/Magdalene Senninger) b. 4/20 bp. 6/9/1861 gp. Theodor and Francisca Senninger St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg Durm, Guilielum m. 4/15/1863 Louisam Alwine, she non-catholic witness Thadeus Horn/Lucretia Durm St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg Senninger, Petrum (Josephi/Mariae Geus) b. 8/3 bp. 8/8/1858 gp. Petrus Sak(?)/Susanna Dann {*note this is most likely William's daughter from his first marriage} St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg Seninger, Theadorum (Francisco/Anna Fisher) - native of Germany m. 11/22/1863 Margaritam Holland (fergustina/Anna Callan) -- native of Galway, Ire. wi. Joanni Eccle/Serah Seninger St. Mary's Church in Hollidaysburg I hope some of this helps you. I put in the dates of William's other two marriages so you had perspective and an idea of when Magdelena died if you don't have a death date for her Finally, there is a family plot at St. Patrick's in Newry.... Section A1 lot 174 Dunn, Wm. d. 1905 (I believe this is just a misprint or it is difficult to read the tombstone and this is our William... since he lived with John until he died) Dunn, Eliz. d. 1914 Dunn, Mary d. 1945 Dunn, John d. 1947 Miller, Annie d. 1941 (she is related, but I forget how)....
