Al, Do you know of any Dunn who lived in North Carolina around the time frame you stated? My ggg grandfather was married in Granville County, Ga. in 1813. Wife's name was Nancy Hackney. their first child, a son, William J. Dunn was born in Ga. about 1813, Second child a daughter, Elizabeth Dunn was born in Ga. about 1815. Next child, a Son was born next about 1816 in Tennessee. (David Dunn) Next was John Dunn, born about 1817 in Tennessee. Wonder if it was just a coincidence that he went to Ga. and then to Tn. and you have Dunn relatives living in both places. Or was it that he was visiting relatives? Dick Do any of these names seem familiar to you? >From Tennessee the family moved to Mississippi. Altogether, Thomas and Nancy had thirteen children. -----Original Message----- From: Al Dunn <adunn@wf.quik.com> To: DUNN-L@rootsweb.com <DUNN-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, September 15, 2001 11:38 AM Subject: Re: [DUNN] Re: Dunn's in North Georgia >Hi, Kathy...read your reply to Becky with great interest and hopeful you might be able to tear down my brickwall.
