I don't know how to reach it but I know Butler Co. Historical Society has a web page that list early settlers. My husband's ggrandfather John G. Dunn was supposedly born in Co. Cork, Ire.. He came here as a boy I expect sometimes in the late 1800's. He married Mary A. Noulette. They had four children; James Thomas, who married Helen G Birckbichler, Mary A, who married Edgar Parker, John G., who married Marie Daugerthy I expect this last name is spelled wrong. All except James Thomas died without issue. James Thomas and Helen G, had four children of which my husband James is one. Apart from this I cannot tell you more, as I have hit a dead end. If this is of any help I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, and good luck. Linda
The Butler County Historical Society website: http://butlercohistsoc.isrv.com/ I am working on the Dunns descended from JAMES DUNN (1764-1835) of Morris Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, whose first born, JOHN DUNN (1791-1865) married Elizabeth Montgomery in 1818, and promptly moved to Butler County, Pennsylvania. Regret to say I have no John G. Dunn nor a James Thomas Dunn so far, which is not to say there may be a connection as yet undiscovered. My Dunns were, to the best of my knowledge, all born in Pennsylvania and were all Protestants (Presbyterian). R. D.
