96th district of S.C. was the earilist designation given to the Abbeville-Greenwood and I believe Edgefield (now counties) area during the grant divisions of the early late 1600s and early 1700s.--many of this area geneo. records fall in this catagory. When requesting info.,always include (Old 96th district). ---Jack ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2006 11:19 PM Subject: Re: [Dunn] Old 96th District (Hodges) Dunns > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: DUNN:Martin,Moody,Sexton-Stewart Co Tn from Wake NC > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hlT.2ACEB/4090.1 > > Message Board Post: > > what is the 96th dist?? new to these parts in my research! > Sheri > > > > ********* > Visit the threaded archives of this list: > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/DUNN > ********* > Messages posted to the RootsWeb/Ancestry DUNN Message Board are gatewayed > to this Mailing List.
