Rowell June 30 1853, Wilcox Co. Ala. Census records give her birth as ca 1833, Wilcox Co. A partial list of voters in the 1860 presidential election shows C.M. Rowell and an E.W. Dunn in the Foxes Mill Beat. Nancy Jane is shown in only one census, Wilcox Co. 1860. Shortly afterward Caleb moved his young family to Louisiana where Nancy Jane died before the 1870 census, which shows Caroline, Caleb's new wife.
