Richard Dunn was born about 1692 and died between 11 April 1745 (date of Will) and 4 May 1745 (date of first probate) estate final probate & distribution ion 25 July1746 at which time Alice was married to a John Hopkins. We have not found any record sofar of her maiden name. Above info is found in the Will & Probate accounts of Somerset County Maryland Richard was the son of Nicholas Done/.Don/Dunn who died in 1708. He had at least one brother and one sister. Namely Nicholas and Sarah. They were all assigned to various people to serve out their minority and learn trades. Richard age 16 went to Peter Dotty and Nicholas age 12 to Thomas Laramor and Sarah age 4 to Martha McClaster This information appeared in the Somerset Judicial Records 1707 - 1708 Richard married Alice (- ?? -) about 1727 They had five children of record Elizabeth b 11 July 1729 Nicholas b. 1730 Thomas b. 1732 d. 1773 Sarah b. 16 Sept 1733 Richard b. 15 March 1736/37 I descend from Richard Sr. son Thomas.
