Steve is the son of my 1st cousin, Theodore Deering Manning. Deering and I have the same grndmother as our mother's were sisters. Our grandmother Margaret Minerva (Winfield) Dunn had 14 children; my mother being the youngest. All were born in Hyde County, N.C. Where are you located? I currently live in San Angelo, Texas and visited Hyde County during the 1st week of May. I would be interested in trying to see if our families are related. My grandfather, John Edward Dunn, had 4 children by his first marriange. Perhaps your Dunn's may be related to those 4. I have traced the Dunn's back to Dundalk, Ireland and would not mind exchanging genealogical info with you. Maybe there is a connection someplace.
