She descends from that line and had= findings that seem to support that theory. There were multiple Thomas Dunn individuals arriving in the 1600s, and a number of other Dunns as well. I have a list. The unique names in that Essex VA line help a lot in research of later generations (Waters, Gatewood, Winifred, Drury). My Dunn line's DNA is an exact match with a descendant believed to be from the Essex William Dunn line. My William Dunn ancestor (believed to be the one who married Ann Newman) was the one in Richond Co VA N. Farnham Parish 1711-1720 across the river from Essex Co (S. Farnham). He was related to Walter Dunn dec'd 1698 (wife Mary Nutt)of Northumberland Co VA. Walter arrived on the boar 1650s.
