Tina, I'm sorry you feel this way but I will remove you from the list as you request. My "constant nagging" as you say, is in effort to satisfy my job as listowner. A job, which, I might add, I do as a VOLUNTEER, and have for many years given my time to do. I'm sorry that you do not believe I do a good job, but you are entitled to your opinion and also to unsubscribing as you see fit. Hi James, Its concerning the post the other man made on DUNN Cemetery at rootsweb. See no way to get there. This is my own DUNN Cemetery (my relatives). Thanks, Marilyn Dunn Carothers cmantiques@aol.com
Hi Marilyn, Which Dunn cemetery are you needing info on? James
Hi James, Looked on www.rootsweb Cemetery Records, say nothing for DUNN Cemetery Family. Can you give me a better clue as how to get there? I have a DUNN Cemetery that should be listed, or needs to be. Thanks, Marilyn Dunn Carothers cmantiques@aol.com Nov. 30, 2001
I am looking for information on Cyrus F. (C.F.) Dunn son of G.W. Dunn of Stanly/Davie Co. and Martha Hunter Dunn b. 1810. C.F. 's wife was Annis Dunn. They lived in Davie co. in the 1870 Census with his parents and sister next door. They had moved back to Stanly co. by the 1880 Census. He "may have" gotten the land that his uncle Harry A. Hunter had in Stanly Co.,NC before moving to AR in 1870-71. C F had a sister named Ophylia Jane Dunn. She may have gone by Jane, and had gotten married between 1870-1880. Only ones I have seen on the 1880 census were C F and Annis Dunn with their children, one named Cyrus L. Hi everyone. I just want to let everyone know that Rootsweb.com has a new section called Cemetery Records on the Dunn Family. Check it out. Take care. James L. Cosper
Folks, I am going to have to insist that the virus discussions be taken off-list now. One of the list rules is: 7. DO NOT forward Chain letters, off-topic posts, or virus alerts to the list. This is cause for removal from the mailing list. There are two sites listed below that deal with these potential hoaxes. Please check one of them and then email the listowner if you are still concerned. If there is cause for real alarm, she will address the list. http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html http://www.cai.com/virusinfo/ Now, while what has been going around is not necessarily "virus alerts", it is off-topic for this list. There IS a virus-discussion list (to subscribe to list mode, send email to virus-discussion-l-request@computers.rootsweb.com with only the word subscribe in the body of the email) which you can join for more information and help. But for the Dunn list, please do not continue on with the virus discussions... Thank you!
