I have learned that the Edward I search for was born in England June 11, 1894, he emigrated in 1907 and was naturalized in 1917. On the 1920 census he has children Edward, Philip and Elizabeth. His daughter Julia, for whom I seek further information, was born in January but after the census was taken. Edward and Anna were believed to divorce; she later married a Moser. What I know for certain is this: my father-in-law is William Dunn, his father is William T. Dunn. William T. Dunn was born in Duncansville, Ohio in 1878 (abt). William T's father was John Dunn (b1853) son of William Dunn who was born in 1817 and died in 1902 in Duncansville, Pennsylvania. I have his obituary. I hope this helps and let me know what more I can do to help. I have not found William Dunn's (b1817) parents as yet.

I am looking for a death date for one Edward Michael Dunn who was reportedly from Boston or Lynn MA area. He married Anna Theresa Mahoney, they had several children, one of them being Julia b. 1920. I found his death record (not his death certificate). On his death record it does not list his parents name. It did however state that he was born in "Bedford, PA" (at least I believe that is the correct translation of the handwriting). Which of William's children is your wife decended from? My ancestors are William and his first wife Mary (who I have more information than his other wives). They had a daughter Lucretia Wilson Dunn who is my ancestor. Have found my grgrandparents on the 1880 census. John age 54 farming Bridget 51 keeping house Kate A. age 20 school teacher James H. 18 in school Nellie 15 in school Both parents born in Ireland!! Three children born in MA. I am told there are older children possibly born in Canada: Anna Theresa or Therese (m. Edward Michael Dunn), John, Mayme, Jean and there could be others. The group came to Alabama directly from there around 1818. Now, the father and grandfather came into Georgia from North Carolina, but that was around 1769. My mom's name was Julia Dunn. She was born in either Boston or Lynn Mass. on Jan 12,1920. Her mother's name was; Anna Theresa Mahoney, her dad's name was Edward Michael Dunn.
