Is it possible to search and obtain a birth certificate for 1907 with just some of the facts? I need to find John MacGREGOR's Birth Certificate, all I know is the date 3rd July 1907 and the fact that he was probably born in Dunbartonshire. On the Marriage Certificate in 1942 it shows his father as Lewis (a Shipwright) and Jamestown as the address. Can any member suggest where is the best place to start looking is, as I am only new to this genealogy research and don't know where to go next?
