Is anyone researching this family: James MCALISTER m. Isobel HAMILTON in Helensburgh in the parish of Row in 1822. Their daughter, Elizabeth Gilfillan (born March 14, 1827 Helensburgh) married Duncan MCCOLL (born approximately 1819-1821 in Appin, Argyll) in 1849 in Helensburgh. Their children: John b. 1850 Helensburgh James b. January 1852 Helensburgh Isabella b. February 14, 1854 Glasgow Margaret & Catherine (twins) b. December 1, 1858 Helensburgh Duncan was a tailor and I think he died sometime between 1854 and 1861. I'd love to hear from anyone researching the same family. Rachael Diana
