Hamilton Robb married Harriet Louise Colquhoun in 1857 they had a son Archibald Colquhoun Robb, I wonder if this could be any relation to your Archibald Colquhoun.Hamilton's elder brother William Brodie Robb emigrated to New Zealand in 1862. William's second marriage was to Martha Neill. Martha had a sister Mary Ann Neill who married John Carmichael, who also emigrated from Scotland to New Zealand.
