In one of the copies I took from the 1871 census (mostly Stirlings) I found this: Waterside Village, Kirkintilloch John Jack Head M 32 b.Glasgow occ. cotton weaver Agnes Wife m 35 Kirkintilloch Margaret Dau 8 Kirky scholar John Son 5 Kirky scholar Thomas Son 2 Kirky I don`t know if this is your family or not but thought I`d give it to you anyway.
