I'll check next time. *** I have it (of course!), and it lists by place the R.C. churches and notes what registers exist for each church, including the years covered. You then have to contact the National Archives of Scotland or the local parish church to consult the actual records. Note: most of the local churches do not answer letters on genealogy, so I would advise getting a searcher to examine the copies in Edinburgh for you. Most of the R.C. church registers don't start until dates in the late 1800s, so don't expect anything much earlier. Gordon Johnson.
