I am interested in finding out anything about Maxwell's in Dumbarton or the surrounding area during the 18th and 19th centuries and also in finding out anything of Stewart's sons, William and John Maxwell and William Bedwell Maxwell (his illegitimate son) The later was apprentised as a glass cutter and I would be interested in making contact with anyone else who is interested in researching the history of glass making in Dumbarton or Alloa during the 18th and 19th centuries.
