Posted on: Shire of Dunbarton, Scotland Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/Scotland/Dunbarton/730 Surname: Graham, McInnes, Roser ------------------------- I am looking for any leads on James Graham, born c. 1885 in Dumbarton, and his siblings, and their ancestors. He had at least two siblings, John and Annie, and there may have been others, including a Margaret. I have only sketchy information on the family, but James's father was definitely Robert. Some records indicate that Robert's wife was Isabel, Isobel, or Isabella, and that she may have been Irish. In 1900, I believe the family was living in Glasgow, as I have an indenture agreement, (apparently prepared by Robert Lawson, 194 Vincent St. Glasgow), for James to work as an apprentice to a lady's tailor, William Roser, 234 Vincent St., Glasgow. (The document was witnessed by two employees of Mr. Roser, Alexander McInnes, and William C. Roser). James, Robert, and Annie all emmigrated to the US in the early 1900s, settling in Connecticut.
