Still tracking down information on some of my elusive Murray's. I know that Hugh and Euphemia(Munro) Murray arrived before the 1861 census as they appear there in the village of Renton. I am looking for some of Hugh's siblings that may have come to the area for work earlier on. I have found an older sister, Catherine, married to James Fraser of Kirkcaldy, Fife; but don't know when they actually arrived. On my website I have a page of photos that are taken in photography studios around the area. Some are: Dumbarton, Alexandria, Clydebank, Pollokshawa, Hamilton, Stirling and Glasgow.
