Has any subscriber knowledge of, or connection to, the family of Daniel BROWN baptised Rothesay, Buteshire on 1 April 1814, married Catherine CRAWFORD at Greenock 23 July 1841 and resident in Dumbarton from circa 1850 until at least 1891 when he was recorded at Census as still working as a piermaster at age 77. Five sons of Daniel & Catherine are known, Alexander, Daniel, Archibald Crawford, George and William. My connection is through Archibald Crawford BROWN who emigrated to Australia in 1879.
