Hi Listers, Can anyone tell me how to access records, 1859 to 1867 of inmates (children from 14 years of age upwards in particular) of Workhouses or other places where vagrant children were given some sort of subsistence, places from which they could have stowed away on a ship out of Scotland (especially Clydeside, but other ports were known as departure points for immigrant ships) to the colonies Kind regards, from New Zealand, mail to:ray.christmas@inspire.net.nz
