Indeed I am related to Dot Murphy in Australia and my maiden name was ROWATT. John Rowatt was born in Kirkintilloch and moved to Canada with his family in 1815 so starting the Ontario Rowat's. Mary McKinlay from Kilsyth was my 4th. GGrandmother. Still working on the McKinlay line not getting any where at the moment so it is very frustrating. Have you been able to contact Jason?
