Posted on: Shire of Dunbarton, Scotland Queries Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/Scotland/Dunbarton?read=657 Surname: McKinlay, M'Kinlay, Mackinlay ------------------------- Dear Rachael, Sorry for the difficulty in communicating. I'm sure there is a good reason to preserve privacy, but I, personally, would prefer a link directly to the other person's e-mail address. I have had the mckinlay.1@osu.edu for years, so if you try that , it should work. I'd be pleased to have you send whatever manual data you have, and I'll put it in a FTM format for you. Since I have the transcsriptions of the Rhu Kirk cemetery downstairs, I'll look up Janet McKinlay Hamilton for you. I'm also getting copies of the Dunbartonshire monuments as recorded by Charles Rogers some years ago, because the library in Ft. Worth, TX, is kind enough to do that for me, The book is a reference, so non-circulating only. I'll see what I can find there as well. I will also send you a WORD format Genealogy File on my Dunbartonshire McKinlays, but I'll need either your e-mail or snail mail addresses in order to do so. In the meantime, you could visit http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~mckinlay/ and find the first, primary Robert File just after the Royal House of Scotland and can see my whole family tree. My snail mail address, for sending any overland data, is: 1303 Goldsmith Drive Westerville, OH 43081 I'll get back to you as soon as I can and when I have an address that you give me to which to send the data. Best regards, Bob P. S. You know, I just noticed that there is a link to as well as your e-mail address just below the Subject line in your message. I wonder if my e-mail address is stated incorrectly when similarly posted. Of course, I got the notification that you had posted a message, so the Queries Forum knows my correct address. I'll send you a test messsage and I did give you my correct e-mail address in this message above.
