Greetings from the USA, Based on an old letter which recently came into my possession, I have reason to believe that my GGGrandparents, Robert Lyon and his wife Christina or Christian, residents of Canniesburn Toll per both the 1841 and 1851 census, may be buried in what I suppose to be the one and only New Kilpatrick Churchyard from that era. Christina is known to have died 6 April, 1859 at age 60 and was probably predeceased by Robert who was 20 years her senior. I would be very interested to verify that they are there, learn the graveyard's specific location, see a picture of the place, etc./whatever if anyone out there has such information. It is not likely that I will ever get to Scotland so any relevant info is of great interest. Thanks, Ed
