Hi I am researching my McAulay connections in the Alexandria, Vale of Leven, Bonhill and Helensburgh areas using the Scots Ancestry Research Society. They have been able to trace my maternal line back to Archibald McAulay (s) with a likely marriage to Agnes Walker in 1795. All the males seem to have carried on the tradition of being named after fathers throughout the 18th & 19th Centuries. Does the name Archibald McAulay link with these spouses Ann Bain, Agnes Walker (m 1795), Isabella McNicoll (m 1833), Christina Hendrie (m 1860), Janet White Robertson (m 1896) in any body else's chart.
