Is there some kind person with access to Cumbernauld Burial records who could help me. I have a receipt from Cumbernauld Burying Ground, Parochial Chambers, Cumbernauld, dated 31st March 1893, made out to Mr Robert AITKEN of Focister (?), Low Abronhills, Cumbernauld, in respect of Section 81 (?) and Lair 416 for 1.10.6d for lair and interment fee. I cannot find the death of the said Robert that year and wonder who it was bought for, who was buried there, or was he pre-paying his own funeral? Obviously I am researching AITKENS in Cumbernauld.
