My grandfather, Thomas Smith Cameron Swanston, was born in Dumbarton on January 10th, 1898. Grew up in Dumbarton Oaks. His parents names were William and Isobel Smith Cameron Swanston, brother's name William, sister's name Isabella. Thomas S. C. Swanston moved from Scotland to Chicago in the spring/summer of 1922, where he later met and married my grandmother. Sadly, he died when my father was 5 years old. I would like to find any living relatives who may be children/grandchildren of his brother or sister, particularly those who may still be living in the Dumbarton/Glasgow area.
