I'd be grateful for any help in identifying exactly where the following places are in Arrochar, Dunbarton. My g.g.g grandparents, Dougal Campbell and Catherine McDougall were married in Old Tarbert in 1792 (where is Old Tarbert in relation to Tarbert?). Their son Colin was baptised in Nov 1792 while the family was living in Stuckgown, Arrochar, and their daughter Mary was born in 1795 while the family was living in Garabel, Arrochar. Dougal was a forester and by 1805 had moved to Pollockshaws where he was a forester employed by Sir John Maxwell at Pollock and where he married for a second time, to a Mary Watson, by whom he had a daughter Agnes and sons James and William.
