Hi I am seeking information about James McKay born Dumbarton 1828 - parents John McKay and Mary Webster. He had six siblings all born Dumbarton - John 1818, Janet 1820, Mary Ann 1823, Christian 1825, Isabella 1830 and Elizabeth 1833. James worked as a baker though he also appears on some records as a labourer.I am specifically seeking the name of James' wife and two children. He was listed as unmarried in the 1851 census and was married with two children by the time he was transported to Western Australia in 1855 for the crime of robbery/assault - this crime took place in Edinburg. While I am particularily interested in James any iformation about the other family members would be much appreciated. Thank you Zoe
