My grandfather's name was also John, as was my father, who was born in Barrie Ont. I understand that we are related to the Rowat family that owned Rowat and Co. I have been told that they lived around Waterside, Scotland. My sister and I are visiting Scotland this summer. We are from B.C. Verna is from Williams Lake and I live in Vernon. Any information about points of interests or places where our ancestors worked and played would be very appreciated. Would love to meet up with any relatives, too.
