Hi everyone! Does anybody out there have any information on the Buchanan family of Dunbartonshire in the 1500s? Specifically, the latest of my ancestors I can trace to is Robert Buchanan, 1st of Blairhennachra, who was born c. 1537, and married Janet Danzelstoun c. 1562. Robert was born at Tullichewan, Bohnill, Dumbartonshire, Scotland. My line then goes through Robert's son Mungo, his son Robert, his son Mungo, his son Mungo, to his son George Buchanan who came to America in 1723. I'd appreciate any information anybody has on this family. Also, any information on their home at Tullichewan, which I'm told is a Castle.
