Hello Isla and list I have at lease one Christina or Christian McCallum in my McCallum family in Luss (1780s-early 1800s) and later in Helensburgh (Row or Rhu parish). I don't know whether any of my Christian/Christina McCallums married a MacDonald but please get back if you think your family may have a connection to the Helensburgh area in the 1830s and I will check my notes. Have you found your family in the 1841 census to see whether Christina was still alive at that time?
