I have Nicol CLARK married to Margaret DUNBAR on 8 December 1810 at Old Kilpatrick Dunbarton, and on 17 December 1810 Low Paisley, Renfrew. Maybe the two ceremonies were performed to keep both sides of the family happy. I'd love to know if this was common.
