Its amazing to me that all our families in the 1850's were in the same small area. They must have known each other. They're all probably having a good laugh at us trying to find them all. My grandmother was Mary BUCHANAN daughter of John BUCHANAN and Mary DENNY Mary DENNY died before her daughter was married in 1883 in Renton to Robert MELVILLE son of William MELVILLE and Janet LIDDLE. Janet LIDDLE was also deceased at the time of the wedding. James LIDDLE was a witness to the young couples wedding. Mary Buchanan was listed as a Mill Hand and Robert Melville was an apprentice riviter. I'd really like to know more about them. Thanks Rosemary McLarty
