I am seeking any information about my great grandparents Patrick McGonigle (later spelled McGunagle), and Mary Gillon. The info that I currntly have is as follows. Patrick McGonigle was born Mar 17, 1830 in Donegal Ireland. Mary Gillon was born Jan 1, 1833 in Paisley Scotland. They were married, May 31, 1851 in Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton Scotland. At that time, Patrick was listed as a clerk at Manchester England. Mary was from the town of Duntocher in Old Kilpatrick Parish. The First child of Patrick and Mary was Mary McGonigle born May 25,1852 in Dumbarton. She became the wife of Patrick Curran of Newry, Ireland. Other children of Patrick McGonigle and Mary Gillon were John (my grandfather), Hugh Henry, and Elizabeth (wife of Thomas Cleary). These children were all born in the Liverpool/Birkenhead area of England where patrick was a boiler maker in the shipyard. In his last will, Patrick mentioned a brother Daniel, and sisters Margaret (wife of John Keenan), and Rose (wife of James scullen). Thank you for any possible assistance. Evans T. (Mac) McGunagle
