I am looking for Patrick MCAUSLAN(E) of Row who married Catherine EWING of Cardross. I think Patrick's parents were Joseph MCAUSLANE OF Tomavoulin and Jean WILSON of Blairnairn. They had both been married before. Patrick's first wife was Agnes MCMILLAN and they had a daughter Mary born July 1794. Jean's first husband was Peter MCFARLANE. Joseph McAuslane and Jean Wilson had at least three children: Jean born 18 Sep 1797; Robert born 19 Apr 1798 and Patrick born 13 Jan 1800. I have no proof that these people were the parents of my Patrick but am still trying to find some verification. Patrick and Catherine emigrated from Rutherglen, Lanarkshire to Ontario, Canada in about 1838 with one son Joseph born 4 March 1836. Would be pleased to hear from anyone interested in these families.
