    3. I can't find a son James between 1810-1817. James' wife was Janet Shearer; they are both buried in Cumbernauld along with their family. Their tombstone was erected in 1815, I suspect when their daughter Margaret (the first daughter named Margaret, b.1815) died. Have still to confirm this in death records.
