Meanwhile, those that I know of who died in Cumbernauld are - All the JARVIEs or JARVEYs including - John JARVIE (died before 1855) and his wife Jane/Jean CAMPBELL (died 23 May 1871) Alexander JARVIE (DIED 4 November 1877) His wife Jane/Jean MILLER died at New Monkland on 4 April 1877, but might have been buried at Cumbernauld as that was her birthplace James JARVIE (died in childhood before between 1860-1867) John JARVIE (DIED 20 August 1855) and Margaret ARMSTRONG (died 12 July 1856) Christina Russell WATSON nee JARVIE and her son John who both died in November 1858 William JARVIE (died 7 March 1841 aged 15) Matthew BLAIR (husband of Janet JARVIE) who died 3 March 1856 Matthew BLAIR infant, died between 1849-1852 and another Matthew BLAIR, died 2 Sept 1857 aged 4 Thomas FURFIE (husband of Mary JARVIE) died 29 August 1869. Mary died on 3 Sept 1896 I already have a copy of the MI for Anthony JARVIE and Elizabeth MARSHALL Mary JARVIE nee SHEARER (died 29 June 1855). Her husband was Walter JARVIE who died before 1855 Robert MARSHALL (died 6 July 1880) His mother was Janet JARVIE Charles SMITH (husband of Janet JARVIE) died 22 March 1866 and Janet died 16 Dec 1868 James WALKER (husband of Jean/Jane SMITH) died 15 April 1886. Alexander JARVIE (who died 30 Sept 1871) Jean LOGAN (wife of John JARVIE) who died some time before 1855. Anne JARVIE (daughter of John Jarvie and Jean Logan) died in infancy having been born in 1834 Sarah MARSHALL (wife of Walter JARVIE) who died 1 June 1876. Walter died 30 March 1860 Matthew JARVIE (who died 19 May 1877) William/Willie JARVIE (who died 17 Aug 1862 aged 2 years. Mary JARVIE (wife of Douglas DUNN) who died 19 April 1868. John WALKER (husband of Elisabeth JARVIE) who died 9 August 1875. Elisabeth died 20 August 1890 Walter JARVIE (husband of Margaret CURRIE) who died 18 Jan 1915 William McKENZIE (husband of Mary JARVIE) who died between 1881-1891. William SMITH (husband of Elizabeth JARVIE) who died 14 November 1896. Elizabeth died 23 November 1914 Jean Gilmour JARVIE (died in about 1826) William JARVIE (husband of Helen LEISHMAN) who died 5 Feb 1868 William JARVIE (who died at the Dumbarton Poor House on 3 August 1881 - not sure where he was buried but he was born in Cumbernauld) I already have the MI for John Leishman JARVIE and Mary ROWATT Mary JARVIE (wife of William WILSON) who died 19 July 1910.
