Greetings Everyone I'm new to your list but have been puttering around several other lists for quite some time in that ever elusive pursuit of ancestry. I have now traced my great grandmother, Christina COOPER to the Kirkintilloch area. She was born about 1851 according to her age on her marriage certificate. Her father was listed as John COOPER and her mother as Christina SLACKSLY but I had absolutely no luck on ORIGINS when I queried these names/dates/places.
