Hello Listers, Could anyone help me with a look at the 1871 census for Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire. I am trying to find the family of John Elton who previously lived in Cumbernauld but who I believe moved to Port Glasgow before emigrating to Australia. I believe the address in Port Glacgow was 23 Scarlow St. Unfortunately the film copy at my local LDS centre is unreadable and I would be very grateful if someone could help out. John A. Elton.
