Hi everyone, Am still trying to track down branches on my Stewart line, & am hoping somebody may be able to help me with information on the following family please. Alexander URE & Mary STEWART m. 1854 & lived at Cardross. Whilst I have been able to find the names of their children, could not find any of them in the 1881 census for the whole of the UK, & wonder did the family emigrate?, perhaps to Canada or Australia? Have not been able to find any reference to them in the Australian records, nor could I find their names in the death indexes for Scotland. Does anybody know anything of any of this family? Their children were: 1) Robert URE, b. 1855 2) Jane McFarlane URE, b. 1856 3) Samuel Stewart URE, b. 1859 4) Alexander URE, b. 1860 5) William Dunn URE, b.1861 6) Mary Stewart URE, b. 1863 Here's hoping.
