I myself am working on my daughter-in-law's family and she has a Margaret Macauly who married William Allan. He was born in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland in 1790. They had a daughter Catherine (born 1825 in Scotland) who married Alexander Arthur and had a son with the first name Macauley born 1850. If any of this clicks please get in touch.I have a Dr. William Liddell married to Bethiah Arthur and their children sare William A., Bethiah and Henrietta Liddell.
