Hoping to find further information on John McRob who married Elisabeth Macklem about 1696-97 probably in Old Kilpatrick ~ they had two sons christened in Old Kilpatrick.... Patricke Nov 1697 and William 26 May 1700. Do not know parents of John McRob or Elisabeth Macklem???? Estimated date of birth for John McRob and Elisabeth Macklem would be about 1670.   William McRob married 1726 to Janet Lang, she perhaps the daughter of William Lang of Kirkintilloch?   Perhaps others have McRob, Macklem and Lang in this timeframe?   Janice         "Freedom and Unity"
